Can't say, I only ever owned one VK. The others have been VH models and I always upgraded those for headlight wiring and starter motor relays.

Fairly common if they had not had headlight relay kit fitted...we've had more than 10 of them in family but this is first one I've owned with melted fusebox & trashed wiring....this is my fourth or fifth definitely will be the last vk I build & own.

Complete software failure....

Could not get my GQ programmer software to boot

Cost me a couple hours and I'm still no further trying to fix the problem.

But still no go on my windows 10 laptop.

Norti, you have hit the nail squarely on the head. I have just researched and found exactly what you have said.
Although my old S5 is 4G it is not VoLTE capable which means it will not be able to make/receive calls and emergency calls after 20/06/2024.
Bugger! I hate all the new phones currently on offer. The S5 is a good size to fit in my pocket, all the new phones are generally longer and skinnier.
The older I get the less I tolerate BS & even less, change induced BS.
@DavesSV6Tonner did you get a new handset?

if not you are about to be more annoyed prior to any call you make. reminder messages have started on outbound calls for those still using 3G.

Anyway back to what pisses you off .
I got my NSW RMS part of rego for the CV8 today FXXK = $621 = fxxk = means rego total cost will be at least a few dollars north of $970 !!!
Last of the required rego paperwork arrived today, CV8 rego $621, CTP $304, NRMA road service $212. = $1,137. ( plus $20 for new wiper blades )
Plus the repairs to the Territory = $2,500.

Personal menu change .......... Delete the Grange wine and caviar afternoon snacks, Insert tea and Vegemite SAOs for this month.
