Go to the wreckers, find your model (or any ecotec from vs - vy). Now you"ve got a ginny pig, pull it apart (take pics first). Now you know how. So go home & fit your parts & test. Not hard.

I had the adaptor plate made. 47 mm wide between the block & trans. Had to be that wide to clear the starter motor. Had the torque converter made, basically 6l50 t/c back part that sits on the shaft, & the front was 3 blocks welded to the standard block that would get bolted to the flex plate...

Get the door trim of, & see what condition the clear plastic & seal to the door is like? Might be time for above, @Dayvo s suggestion, new clear?

What are you using to take pics? If using a phone, google how do l resize pictures with whatever phone you have. For example, samsung A14. (thats what l use). By the way, the forum only allows pics smaller than 2MB in size to be uploaded. Hope this helps?

My vt was doing the same thing. The clear plastic that covers the door wasn't sitting proper. With the door closed but trim of the door & with the hose on, l was sitting inside the car. l could see the water coming from the clear plastic & running over the door seal. It seems to effect all...

Did you a use standard ecotec memcal in the vr pcm or did you have to modify the tune on the memcal?

The mounts aren't designed to hold the engine while it's tilted back.

You'll find them in most later model ve v6 with autos. So not so fancy, Maybe for a vt? Maybe? ;) :cool:
