- Vs ecotec v6
Good evening everyone,
I have a 1998 vs commodore ute that just shut down on me the other day when it was just warming up.
Vehicle faults:
No crank
lights show up on the dash when on accessories and ignition
Dome light doesn’t work when I open the door. Assured switch was on door
Centeral locking does not work with both Keys.
Ignition works with radio wipers and lights.
No beeps or anything coming from the car
Fuel pump does not prime
Cannot check codes as tech 2 does not let me connect to my car.
Cannot check sercurity light as owners before me seriously stuffed around with it.
no attempt of cranking as vehicle rests at 12.6v and only goes down to 12.15v
Starter is getting 12v with a good ground .03ohms to the chassis,
Applied 12v to the starter to rule it out starter works fine.
All fuses and relays are fine all have 12v either side
I am in belief that it is immobiliser related.
Anyone that has any ideas please add to my post I could really use the help
