Would anyone be able to shed some light on what this hose is hanging from the bottom of my ute on the passenger side pretty much in the middle.

Only notices it this afternoon

any ideas if it would cause long terms problem as im strapped on cash to get it fixed asap

It should have a small plastic filter/breather cap. Normally sits up high on the trans.
