The picture painted in my mind is, you posted something that you knew you had a chance of getting banned for....Then you have appealled the decision to be banned for this quote hoping to get your account back....

So how does one think outside the box with that?

Smart people learn how to comment without profanity to get their point across.

We have a swear filter on the forum which functions most of the time, we are fairly lax about it but at the end of the day if you go on a rant and start swearing your head off it's going to get deleted and depending on how far you go you may get banned. Those are the forum rules, youtube etc all have similar rules, some are draconian but they are the rules you agreed to when you signed up. I don't do facebook because the rules are BS and it's full of fake news and trolls and all sorts of other stuff that simply doesn't interest me.

True, you can make your point and counter point without insulting. However, swearing is a matter of perception and opinions. To me, there are no such thing as bad words.

Agree on FB, is nothing more than garbage. What I see FB useful is for businesses, anything that is public.

I do not mind censorship, what I do mind.is pitching a free and public platform and meddle with the content. We are old enough to decide what is rubbish or not, no need for something or someone else to tell me what I am authorize to watch or not.

On the bright side at least I don't get any more emails from them.

I'm going to research all the ways to minimise interacting with google apart from buying an Iphone.
If I can live life without having anything to do with google I think I'll be better off.

On the phones, is hard to ge away from Apple or Google. 2 flavors is not choices on my book. Is like picking the cleanest garment from the laundry basket.

If you decide on a phone, at least get the Factory Unlocked phones. They are trully barebones and you can add what you want. However, if you got an Android amd decide to install FB, that application cannot be removed. Happen to me, learned the hard way when used the Auto Migrate from one phone to the other. Pisses me of, desabling the application is not deleting. Also, I do not use the You Tube application, I use the web browser, Brave or Opera.
