Ve series 2 stereo

This will sound stupid I hooked up a amplifier to my head unit and hooked the speaker inputs and outputs back to front was only hooked up to battery for 1 to 2 seconds was enough time to smoke the ute out the amp smoked badly now the only speaker that works is centre dash one it's hooked up back to normal and now battery goes flat in a matter of hours if it's locked the stereo will still turn on i have not touched the main harness at all I had a patch harness im guessing I blew the outputs on stereo or the fuse to original amp but am sure there isn't one in it it's a ve thunder 2011 I'm sure that only v8 like ss malo have the amp as a ss has 4 more speakers

i would think you have done substantial damage to the head unit
time to find a new one
do they do good aftermarket for series ii yet
