That was drone shot, which is why they're a little fuzzy because of the way the platform moves during longer exposures.

no rain here either, driest in 101 years apparently.

everything around me is dry & dead, I am surprised that fire ban wasn't xtended. I worried about backyard bonfires getting out of hand whilst its this dry.

Bunbury had a tornado the other day. The storms cruised down the coast past us.

The SW is not immune to tornadoes however they are almost always associated with cold core thunderstorms embedded in the fierce cold fronts that come out of the Southern Ocean and southern Indian Ocean.

This one was associated with tropical
moisture. That’s unusual. Especially when we should be seeing the odd cold front by now.

Mid May and was 25° at sunset on the way home. It should be feeling chilly around 3 on a nice day now.

Sun is going down. No hint of a chill or cooling air pockets out for a walk. Warm inland winds.

Dark out and still warm. A couple of weeks out from the middle of the year and no sign of changing weather pattern. It’s Darwin in the dry season.

Perth. 1mm at best there. 7days out, that may very well change to a sunny day as the forecast progresses.

Ive lived in Perth a long bloody time and never have I ever seen anything like it. Not even close.
