Wrong again. Very wrong. The bill which was negotiatied over several months and passed through the Senate was NOT passed by the House as the Speaker refused to bring it forward, on Donald Trump's orders. Get some facts in ya before gobbing off numbnuts!

EEK, you can't see MSNBC on YouTube in Australia, but we can here in NZ? I find it hard to believe that MSNBC would block their own channel in Au. I stand corrected. I misinterpreted it but still that was mainly due to the missing context that preceeded the graph at the original source. Net overseas migration "Net overseas migration is the net gain or loss of population through international migration to and from Australia. In the year...

What are you watching right now?

Cool. I've just finished season 2, about to start season 3 of Deadwood (12 episodes per season). A filthy, treacherous, foul mouthed expletive-laden, drinking, whoring, murderous, wild western with Ian McShane stealing the show as the aptly named Al Swearenger.

How was I to know that given just a picture of a graph without any labels or context whatsoever? You see how easy it is to misinform?

Oh wow a graph, after the fact, covering ten days in June last year during which on one day net migration was at -100,000 and did peak at 500,000. On one day in June last year. In no way disproves my theory that Shane couldn't find a fact if he fell over it. He just makes things up.

Since our only refinery at Marsden Point was decomissioned we can no longer produce our own asphalt (bitumen ingredients) and have to import the stuff. So, of course, the cheapest possible crap is what is sourced to maximise profits, and it does not mix, handle, nor adhere anywhere the same as...

    Post your net speed!

I think you will find that packets being "delayed" by "jitter" for more than 1 second by nodes along the route rarely, if ever, arrive at the final destination. But you're obviously right, what would I know.

Wow, another connection with very bad latency, and jitter as well (dropping packets, but they are being resent successfully, so there is no loss shown) which is even worse for online gaming. Your download ping high of 1165 ms is 1.165 seconds. I don't know whether it's relevant, but the 'Data...

Fark me I would never want to play any online game with that connection. With the latency fluctuating an your download ping peaking at 450 milliseconds (that's 0.45 seconds) you would be dead before you saw the other player in a shooter game. Thats over a distance of only 50 miles to the test...

Not quite so great download speeds when connecting to Australia, we tend to get choked at your end. This one was to/from Optus Sydney. That doesn't really effect me or my gaming, when it's more the ping that matters when I'm trying to gib you guys and gals on a TF2 server. Games, especially...

Forecasters were predicting 500 mm of rain fall over 48 hours for West coast, South Island. Now they're saying close to a meter over 62 hours (already had 250 to 300 mm with slips and road closures). Average April monthly rainfall there is 227 mm.

    VF Park assist (manual)

Park assist is great for kerb rash when parallel parking. It guides by the outside of cars you are positioning between and therefore, depending how much narrower than yours and how close they are to the kerb, can scrape your lovely rims on concrete. Ask me how I know. If it is a keeper, keep...

Covid-19 is still killing NZers at 3 to 4 times the road toll, although it is difficult to find that data. So that roughly equates to it being Easter every weekend. But there's no revenue to be gathered in talking about it on the news or spending taxpayer's money on primetime adverts, is there?
