Which bank is bank 2 on ve v6

I've checked on this site but the answer seems very confusing, surely it's a simple answer; which bank is bank 2, driver's side or passenger side?

This is a generic diagram but your owners and/or service manual should say the specifics for your car...

Bank 2 used to be passenger side but the internet may have changed it

Side one is the furthest forward piston. I think the ls motor is opposite to the holden v8. Side one on the holden v8 is the right hand side.

The left is bank one (as per the above refrence to cyclinder 1 being bank one) and bank two on the right.

Correct. In this case, left means left when standing in front of the car looking are the engine.
