So 20x10s with 32P offsets fitted up front and within the guards with normal -0.5 camber? Have you roll the front guards?? What struts??? as normally 10's will hit the stock struts.
my front guards are rolled. it probably stuck out 1-2mm, 10 +35 would have been better.
however anything under about 10 +35 will hit the stock strut.
had the 10 +32 on both my VE's, one has stock struts, the other has modified stock struts.
Just noticed this thread so deleted the other one I posted and copied here.......
Hi guys, new here & to commodores but not new to modding cars.
Just after some info on if/how much I may need to roll the guards to get the wheels to fit.
The rears are 19x10 +40 with some decent dish but I have big brakes so will need to run a 12mm spacer to get them to fit (Have 12mm hubcentrics and long 79mm race studs to fit also)
With the spacers the offset will be +28 which I know is pretty aggressive, question is will they fit with some guard rolling or cutting of the lip? Or will the guards need to be massaged out slightly?
Want to run the widest tyre I can also but highly doubt I'd get away with more then a 275/40.
Car is an 09 SS Ute if it makes a difference.
Cheers
doubt you will even get a 275 on there, probably a 255/40R19 at the most.
i had 275/35R20's on 20x11 +43 and that was pushing the friendship.
you'll need the guards rolled and bumper bracket heavily trimmed for the 255.
Generally its 10" 40-55 Majority are 45, also 20x10 +60 with a 295/30-20 tucked and did not rub! that fits. So your 19x10 28p is stance territory. with a minor guard roll and a 245 stretched tyre it will fit easy but no 275s in your future with those wheels specs. Also if you have HSV rear brakes only a 8mm spacer is required. I have 20x9.5 28P rims on my car with HSV brakes
it very much depends on the rim shape. given that is is dished, i'd hazard a guess that the spokes curve back in and that will cause the problem.
i've got 2 rims the same width and offset, except one is concave and the other is deep concave. concave will clear the brakes, but deep concave wont.
