[LS1] slight petrol smell every now and again

just lately at random times i have been smelling petrol while driving (windows down on hot days.)
i first noticed it after parking my car and going to go inside and smelt it then started getting a slight wiff every so often while driving.
Im assuming it is my car.
after i first noticed it and started smelling it while driving when i pull up i have a sniff around the car and cant smell anything.
any ideas where i should start looking?

Replace the fuel cap, fixed it for me and seems to be common. Dunno why the smell gets in with the windows down but it does!

thanks checked it and was a little bit loose so tightened it up.
will see how that goes failing that i will replace

havent had the issue since tightening the fuel cap, Cheers

if i get the smell again i will replace the cap
