The 15 year old tint factory tint has seen much better days. It's getting cloudy and peeling off around the edges. The rear windscreen is by far the worst area. It is starting to obstruct my view through the mirror.
What is the best solution? I would like to peel it off without damaging the rear demister.
I assume this is a common issue at this age do hopefully some of you have tried it.

Get the tint place to remove it.

That way they are on the hook for any damage.

They will abscond from any responsibility and rightly so (best effort) but it's your best bet as they have the chemicals, tools and skills. If it peels of in one you've got no probs, glue dissolver does the rest and harms nothing. If it comes off in pieces, the odds are not in your favour

I once did it for a living

My cousin's partner does tinting and he won't guarantee no damage if the tint is to the point of bubbling.
