They have been gloss black 2 pack painted. The seller is Sydney Online Wheels - he was upfront with other wheels advising they were non-genuine - but is adamant these are genuine - just been painted gloss black.

So do we think they are legit HSV or most likely - or is there greater doubt than certainty?

They look legit.

Btw Dicastal is just manufacturer. Genuine hf20 are forged
ive only seen references to the staggered ones stating they were forged, but i wouldnt think they would have 2 processes for the same wheel

Hey All,
I found these online - the seller states they are genuine and came from a Maloo. He tried to determine by model numbers or the stampings whether these are legit or not. Would any of you be able to provide any thoughts on these?

Thanks in advance all.
The only Maloo with these wheels but in matte black was a GenF2 SV Black. I'm not aware of that style of wheel in gloss black.

Sorry, I posted this before reading they've been repainted gloss black!

He is the guy that sold me dodgy redline ones. Yes they seem genuine but they have received standard gloss black treatment like most of his stuff. I would not go there...

The gloss black really doesn’t suit them; as in, had I not seen them in black, I wouldn’t have fully understood how bad they’d look.
Does make you wonder what that fresh gloss black is covering (not to mention how long it’d last - had factory MY15 SSVR wheel cleaned-up and painted on the car, twice, both times it looked brilliant when just completed but faded horribly over the next year).
I’m not a black-wheel hater; but that 6-spoke (split 3-spoke?) design just doesn’t like black.

^ That's almost as bad as it'd look if those steelies were cop-spec silver ... :)

The casting marks (or I should say, the engraved marks) on the staggered set of HF-20 that came with my 2016 VF2 Redline Ute.

I was told they are not forged and only the Series 1 VF Redline came with forged rims.

I'm a black wheel hater, unable to erase the vision from my mind of an old VK with the hub caps missing!

I'm not a fan of black rims either as I don't believe black suits many colours, but surface rust on doors, I can't get enough of that.
