Maybe the money would be better spent teaching Labor how to plan their projects so they don't consistently **** up their initially announced project or event figures both in time and costings...

Pissing money up against the wall isn’t exclusively a Labor thing, both sides of the aisle are famous for it. Funnily enough they can put in a concerted effort when it comes to what they and their donors want. Just look at them coming together over censoring us plebs, warms the cockles of your heart doesn’t it?

When it comes to what us plebs want though they mysteriously always seem to either disagree about what should be done, fuk it up, overspend and underdeliver or just say they can’t afford it.

A cynical person might suggest the government is well and truly competent and committed, just not to what the people want.

My absolute favourite though:
Money will also go towards additional training for teachers, including $21 million for 100 primary school teachers to undergo a 20-day intensive training to strengthen their maths knowledge and coaching skills.
That works out to a cost of $10,500 per teacher per day. How the **** is that justified.

Perhaps they have budgeted for the training to be conducted by a privatised training provider?

The Vic ALP have written the book on the subject. They opened the batting by spending $1.2billion *not* to build a road about 10 years ago with things off the charts over budget ever since. The public service is totally out of control having more than doubled over the last 6 years. I could go on.....

Or a unionised workforce perhaps? ;)

It takes a special skill set that Vic ALP have to spend BILLIONS to do absolutely NOTHING.

Luckily the Melbourne Commonwealth Games were abandoned as early as they were, before the money black hole increased in mass.
