Hmmm, finish night shift, walk to the car park, start car, turn on seat warmers, spend 5 minutes scraping the ice from the windscreen with an ID card, finally leave for home with a warm bum!
I’m sure those living in our alpine region also like the seat warmers but it’s a no brainer to have included seat coolers as the preferred option for a larger group of individuals who hate enduring oppressive summers and dislike sweaty bums
Really if I had a choice, and I didn’t as far as Motorsport edition goes, I’d go coolers over heaters and time. But we really should have got both, especially in the best of the last (which have some shortcomings when compared to the Chevy SS which has seat heaters and coolers).
Though it may be possible to retrofit the Chevy SS seat cooler parts into our seats and then add the wiring and the heater/cooler buttons to the dash, programming the appropriate modules to work with that stuff will almost certainly be an issue (GM loves to abstract the module configurations id’s into some odd part numbering format so manually choosing the correct s/w may be difficult if impossible for the uninitiated to cross flash such a feature on said modules). It all comes back to what

@stooge both correctly highlighted
As a general comment for led globe upgrades and DTC’s being raised, I posted a video in another thread some time ago which showed how the VW crowd mod their vehicles firmware by changing a specific module data word that allows the system to work with led globe and only provide a DTC when the led globe is faulty… something the GM/H hackers have yet worked out how to do
