VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
Had another play this arvo but again ( I'm an idiot ) , mustn't have had the SD card fully connected.

Having looked at @Skylarking video that sort of quality images is what used to for ones where I worked.

This little thing is nowhere near that good for viewing/ images ,focus/range.

I threw a steel screw into the plenum of the intake manifold on the spare engine .

Had a look = found it and then attached the magnet attachment and retrieved said screw.

What became apparent is
1. camera can focus and give better range/views if the light source is not the LEDs in the camera .
2. In focus is about 35 mm to 42 mm from the camera.
With the magnet attached , the back of it at 40mm from the camera was in perfect focus and the screw when attached to the magnet was 50mm away.
You can side it further down to bring the magnet closer to the camera.
The magnet is pretty strong so not shore how effective (PITA ) it would be in say trying to retrieve said screw from in a chassis rail=steel.
The attachments.

Photo from my phone before I removed the camera/magnet/screw.
Plot twist, finds two screws.

or magnet sticks to something else and pulls camera head off flex shaft :p

Ha ha ha , not sure I can see that happening
But did wonder if magnet sticks to something solid will the sleeve slide off and leave more FOD in the cavity = another experiment = say magnet on rollaround and see what happens .
Magnet certainly seems strong enough to attract/attach small to medium size sockets at the very least.
Plot twist, finds two screws.

Well it seems I'm struggling to install an SD card so maybe I can't count as well ,Ha ha ha.

Hope my memory is in tact =
Now which manifold did I throw that/those screws in?

VX S pack (Devil Yellow)
I bought an Aldi one a few years ago if that's any help. Works ok for finding dropped tools/bits etc. I have used it to check a blocked waste pipe under a slab at home. Did the job. It's not flash but you can work out what you need to do with it. The camera head is 5mm. The flexible shaft is 66cm so it goes in a way. Hardest thing I find is to work out which way it is up, compared with reality.

Some pics of it in use would also be great

I am just practising before i make the video for my proctologist!
I‘d hope someone else hasn‘t tried that already with your specific unit  It is eBay after all, and who knows, maybe the last buyer wasn’t happy with the performance and sent that unit back. The eBay seller then fullfilled your order with that returned unit

Hope it didn't taste or smell too funny :p:p:p

PS: I’d hoped for some engine views, maybe of valve stems or such … tonsils, not so much :p
