Ignition barrel drilling out

Hi has anyone had to drill out the ignition barrel froma vx . Looking for advise on exactly how to doit fromsomeone who has.. Thanks

You get a big drill bit, 5/8 and start drilling.
The plate on the from might spin a little just push harder.
Stop every now and then blow it out and check how many sliders are left.
Once you get down to two or so left, try and pry them out so you don't damage the column.
Then you should be able to see the lock bar thing and pop it out.
