Might be a silly question but if you were to send a picture or 2 to Mal Wood, would he be able to identify it?

No, he reckons the only way to know is the TUIT number. I can't find it, unless it's on top of the trans where I can't see it?

Just tried searching again for the original thread and this is all I get.

Thought you'd atleast be able to put it on hoist then with mirror or phone try to find id plate on side of gearbox somewhere or part number sticker on top(?)...cant see why anyone would remove it on purpose or blast it off with pressure washer.

Remember very early ve got t56 probably just leftovers before going to tr6060

If all else fails there should be some kind of info stamped or cast near logo on side....my t56 still had metal id tags on them just hard to see with cats & exhaust in the way.

If I can confirm the location of the sticker is on the top I will invest in a mechanics mirror to have a look on top.

I was led to believe it was a 6060 but I have the reverse gear problem about once every 4-6 weeks. Which makes me question what I have been told.

Buy a Bunnings borescope....have look-see are for numbers.....then later on can put it down spark plug hole look inside engine lol
