Something to do when doing LIM gaskets.
When I did my LIM I took both plastic ones out, lucky I did because a piece of one had lodged in the passage partially blocking it.
That piece was from a previous repair on the back one.

Hi, just working on the looms, mine is a VN S1, not a S2 (would save a lot of trouble) looking at using my loom, as has had a lot of after-market wiring done, can someone please tell me me what this port is for this is on the VP motor. ( I'm thinking Manifold Air temp)? Cheers

Those 2 there will be coolant temp which would have been at the back of the motor on the S1 engine. MAT should still be at the back of the motor.

Ok Thanks, yes correct both at the back just in different positions, have started the motor by bypassing, now just working my way through hooking the rest up.

I think the rear one is a heater circuit connection. The front one is a bypass hose to circulate coolant where it's needed while the thermostat is closed. Front heater connection comes sideways out of the top of the waterpump.
I think.

Ok have finished the wiring, used the VNS1 loom on the VP only had to lengthen a couple of wires. One question Should I use the VN ECU with the VP chip in it or Run the VP ECU, I believe they are the same apart from the chip. The advantage of the VN ECU I would say it would match my wiring and the VP chip will give it the right numbers / readings.
