Hilux LN110R with Vx ecotec using VP11 electrics
Hi,

have finally decided to replace my 808 loom on my ecotec with an ecotec loom. My current wiring is in 2 parts, 1/ lwr engine loom and relays which controls starter alternator fuel pump etc. 2/ engine top loom which plugs into the sensors and ecu unit and injectors. Is any of this compatible if i go to VT loom? Im hoping that the lower loom (1) can still be utilised?? Do i need a BCM simulater or can i just get the memcal reburnt and VATS removed?? i want to use a 4L60 trans NOT the 'E' version

Why are you trying to complicate it more?

Plenty of conversion go the other way ecotec engine with vn/p loom ecu to avoid fitting extra crap & complications.

Even so if did end up with 4l60e you'd get auto, ecu.loom etc etc from vr to stay mafless then get vats off + tune to suit whatever mods.

**only reason why you'd go vr 4l60e setup is if wanting to stay auto & can't get th700 to work properly(tv cable issue)
