Hi all, sorry if this has been asked before but I'm a newbie so here goes. I live in New Zealand where Catalytic converters are only required on vehicles after 2010. I had a Coby brand 3" cat back exhaust installed which sounds awesome, however the drivers side Cat needs replacing (giving that horrible rattling noise). Local garage said go with a cat delete for around $300, not bad considering Holden quoted me $650 for a new cat
Question is do I need the O2 sensors deactivated because someone told me it will cause an engine light fault etc. I just want to make sure this is the case as it will cost me $500 to have this done.
Cheers John
