Just to touch on this, I asked Alan Mance to flush and bleed my clutch fluid as the clutch felt a little knotchy and didn’t always disengage 100% (don’t worry, with regular driving this issue has been resolving it self, bear in mind the car barely got driven for 2 years before I bought it.)I suspect I was fed some BS by the garage I have used a couple of times. I booked my ute in for a timing cover seal replacement and brake flush. The bloke didn't charge me anything but reckoned he flushed the brakes, even though a few months later the brake fluid was filthy when the other garage flushed them while replacing the pads.
anywho, it is very clear they just sucked some fluid out and topped it up as a quick few pumps very quickly turned the fluid back to its darker colour…
anyways, I never want to think about them again, as soon as I get my hands on some ramp extensions or a quick jack of I ever get a job… I’ll be doing most of the work on the car myself
