Yeh get used to skinning knuckles and scratching your hands on stuff. There's plenty of useful threads
on here and people to ask if you get stuck with anything on the car.
Nothing like fixing something yourself. Also helps too if you need to get something done by a mechanic
to have a bit of an idea about things. Some mechanics just think women don't know anything about cars, and charge
accordingly.
