It's most likely transmission related, have you checked the fluid for starters?

Check fluid level.
Also look under car on passenger side to see if the selector rod is tight in the arm that goes into the transmission.

Cheers will do, just hope it's that easy, probably didn't help that I did a burn out before this happened. Lol #made4it

I would say a clutch or band is jammed on likely the one that is released to engage reverse otherwise it would make a massive clunk trying to go into reverse.
I assume it's not the linkage as it still goes into park.

Hey yeah been grovelling under it today on bros metal drive full of cat **** and shifter is fine fluid is good so must be inside, I've got park then drive doesn't seem to be anything in between. I could change gears underneath the car easily by moving the shift bar so easily. You think it would be OK to drive home without doing more damage?.

Well that changes everything! Lol

I agree with Shane, depending on burnout variables, you possibly overheated a certain internal part which is now stuck on or off or whatever.
Hey deuce straight ride man, my ones got hsv body kit on it. What's yours worth? Now I'm in nz.

Good luck getting someone to overhaul a gearbox online....

As far as I knew, they had to be done in a workshop....

Let us know who you find so we can all use them
