looking at the oil on the side of the sump internals looks by the color the oil has been hot and prob running out of oil too, was prob burning oil and never checked level and it got too low/hot and created the now issue

might have started the car with 100% throttle seeing if the ''flood clear'' works....

did u try the test in engineering mode settings ? if pointer sits right there then its fine, could even be either sender in the tank as when they play up it will read lower then actual

might need to clear something up ''purchased with knock in engine'' has this been running with the knock sounding (with hole in sump) or just mentioned as an issue on purchase and engine dosnt run ?

for anything to hit it has to be broken so its either a 7 cyl LS somehow still running(ish) or something real strange got in there and knocked into it

drain the oil out and get a little camera in there see if u can make out any issues, that is a strange spot to hit tho from inside or out

with all honesty the tuff mounts will make u complain about feeling all engine harmonics and noise, they are harsh ( i have some here now not being used as too harsh, got better ones) its not the movement thats bad but the LS engine has harsh harmonics that will go direct to chassis if not dampened

if its 4 pin square type plug its prob the 02 sensor may be cause of the heater issue

front bar fits better and dosnt give too much away, when vehicle on the ground only a little will be noticeable see how it goes if next weekend is good weather

the heat shield goes over the center muffler section under the tailshaft keeps heat out of the tunnel, the two holes are to access the center bearing bracket bolts

is the temp sender in the sump surrounded by the oil ? or sounds like it may be on an exit flow after the converter as it heats up so quick ?

they blame it on the angle the shock is on, yet i dont hear of any other manufacture shocks leaking, also they could design them different to shift the compression angle the shock is on if its such a poor setup

ill be getting some MCA soon to replace my pedders as the rear shocks are leaking again after being replaced with the revised better shocks, its been quite a few years but less the 5000km driven with shocks as they simply cant handle engine torque, ive had the pedders on for years when n/a and...

probably, also dosnt take long to burn them out if no fuel is going thru them, prob best to swap in a new module and at the same time clean out the tank

thats why i have a good set of allen keys then i have a cheap set which usually fits when the good set dosnt, many things go that way as i got some work shoes to replace the exact same shoes but 5 years apart and in that time i had to get a size larger to fit then the previous shoe even tho...

being direct injection the fuel delivery will be a big limiting factor and prob expensive to change if need be, it's not the same as just getting bigger injectors like port injection, look into that also as u don't want to be stuck after it's ready to go and ur maxing the fuel delivery

did it fault because it had a leak at the sensor ? if so then if the oil isnt cleaned out of the plug when the new sensor fitted and oil in connector still the new sensor will fault also, but if it wasnt leaking then not sure as its range/performance issue so its not thought to be operating...

prob just the algorithm seeing u have searched for other items in the past so its just showing u all the items so u purchase more

with all the crap out these days sometimes i find myself on the 80's music video channel, remembering how music use to be those mornings as a kid waking up and going in to watch video hits or rage

so many Aus tuners dont understand the gains to be had with injection timing esp when boosted, u can almost use it like octane boost, and the torque gains in the low to mid are good too

i also find the more power u make the more u have to invest in servicing and preventative maintenance, things start to need replacing an checking just for routine not for time/km driven

pitty u dont have cathedral port heads as i may have a cheap blower sale in the future when i feel like upgrading

u could prob get the blower kit and do a decent rebuild for the cost of the LSA crate engine :)

i drove around for a few years with PD blower on ethanol with 14psi full stock engine just camshaft and valvetrain done and clutch, it ran fine and i didnt baby it all the time as it did see 7k rpm accidently as limiter was 6700 and plenty of tuning fun but i was aware of the limitations, on...
