How do I know if I have ABS
ABS light only comes on when there is a fault. ABS module is next to coolant overflow bottle and fuse box. EDIT: just checked and VS Esteem did have as standard AC, Power windows, Cruise. Optional ABS and driver's airbag.- woteva

Yes Are you doing ecotec into a VR ? VR trans wiring will need to be modified if fitting into a VS.- woteva
