will it power my 600w sub?

just a thought, but i've always believed in running a larger amp than the speaker - eg 300w speaker & 400w amp (just guessing figures at the moment). Reasons being, you want the speaker to die before the amp - if the amp starts to fail (due to it being pushed) all you'll start to notice is...

    6x9 Problem

It sounds like you've wired the 6x9's out of phase to each other. For the best set up, you'll have to phase up the front and the rear then make sure the sub is in phase with the main speakers - refer to the wiring diagram of your head deck for the correct speaker wiring (front/rear). pos to pos...

With engine running, put your foot on the brake and put it in drive - does it vibrate? Then put it in reverse (foot still on the brake), then engine will kick the opposite way, Is it vibrating? I had this problem with my VN - It was the engine mounts.

    Making A Sub-box

after buying the wood, screws, glue, terminals, dampening material, speaker carpet - The time and effort to design, cut and assemble - It's a lot easier to just buy something that has been designed for a specific purpose. I've built and installed cinema subs using 15 - 18 inch speakers and...
