G'day mate, was reading through some of your posts hoping to find a resolution to my problem. I'm converting my ecotec vs ute to the l67 I rebuilt from a stato. My problem is that the wiring loom that I got with the l67 was for the auto. I'm sticking with the getrag I have stock from the ecotec. So I need to find a way to wire in the speedo plug, which is a round yellow plug with 2 pins with a thick black wire on the box. The l67 loom has a large round green plug with **** loads of pins. Hoping that I can just soldier my plug into the loom? What's your thoughts?

Hey mate, I saw a post of yours about your ute. Made me actually want to sign up to this site. I use it all the time just never needed an account. I got a 2000 vs ute S3 (giving me problems at the moment but I still love her).
I'm an apprentice mechanic and I been doing it for about 6 years prior to the apprenticeship. But I still need to ask a few questions about your rig if you don't mind.
I love the way you got it sittin. I'm guessing sl front and ultra rear? If so I was thinking about doing the same soon. At the moment I'm running sl front and ssl rear.
Only concern is the rears scrubbing. I got it sitting on 19" redline pontiacs. They are 245/35. Think they will scrub if I put ultras in the rear?

Sorry for the long message mate. Just admire the work you have done to your ute and although I know my way around cars I hate doing a mod and spending the money only to find out the **** don't work.

Hey mate. How did you wire up the fog lights on your vs.
I just bought myself a pair and are unsure. Like where to wire up what else i need etc.

I also like your ride I have had mine just on a month now she is pretty stock5speed V63800 do you have any spares and who do you go through mine has a crushed right back bummper and i want to get a new one i seen one the other day with a one peice like a sedan do they fight right up to a ute? mine is white also has ROH mags but i want to get a nice set of mags for it! mine has power steering ac but the ac dose not work need to get that looked at! but it is pretty stright and goe's really well I think i did not a bad jod paid 4300 for it and when i got her the lights and horn did not work but the paper work said it had been passed from the pits so i called him and got it fixed for free lol, But yeah i will get there with it, What mods have you done or are looking at doing to yours !

yer the clutch feels fine and gearbox also, she abit hard to get into first sometimes and slips a little but runs extremely well for the age of her haha

and nahh havent touchd the roller rockers, thats down the list abit.

hey m8 nice ute. iv got the same wit 250km, not as grand as urs though. got mine couple months ago, just wana ask hows ur gearbox and clutch going? and did u fit the rollerrockers in?
