Yes, went in to panel shop early February, that’s now coming up 5 weeks. At least repairer supplied a car at no cost so that settled the wife down a bit.

I made up one out of ply and made it fit perfectly and then gave it to a fabricator but that was for the fj Ute, it holds 100 litres.

My vs v6 ticks for a couple of secs with the key ON and when it stops I then turn the key to start it ( as advised by auto elec ) Has been operating like this for 20 yrs with no probs..
