A set of King Springs and Monroe GT Sport shocks should be around $1000 from a decent supplier.
Thanks nev I will keep an eye out.
With the camber, will this be hopefully sorted with this setup ? Or need something like the Monroe magic camber alignment screw ? One reason why I was thinking coilovers. Previous owner has staggered wheels and rear tyres slightly cambered which is wearing the inside of the rear tyres fast.

You'll need wheel alignment and rear camber is adjustable, no issues there.

Sometimes with the wrong offset rear wheels, they'll use excessive camber for tyre clearance on the guards and will prematurely wear the inside of the tyres.
