A high end bidirectional scan tool will be able to see what data is going to the BCM. It can explore data from all the modules. Makes finding the impossible, mostly possible.

There are steps to take when even they can’t find the fault or suspect module.

Seems like maybe the radio is just cooked from looking up the code.

The power is controlled by the BCM.
With a pinout, I’d be seeing if the BCM is continuing power supply with the headunit unplugged.

I’d also explore in what state it things the drivers door is in. Does it think it is unlocked, even if it is locked?
