That's an unusual one,

Id say if you were going around a corner and it just stopped,
Something has moved, possibly a short some where, and its popped a fuse,
check all the fuses,
connections,
Check the battery voltage, then trace it from there.

Actually could be the positive to battery cable on the back of the alternator.
Known weak link

To have a total loss of voltage could mean (1) one of the battery lead terminals has fractured from the lead plates within the battery itself so the volts can’t get out, or (2) something has shorted one of the main positive feeds from the battery to ground and the fusible link has popped as a result, or (3) the main relays and/or other fuses have gone pop (not strictly total loss of voltage but may seem that way)…

Best to remove the battery leads and then measure the voltage directly at the battery terminals to ensure the battery is ok. If the battery =~12V it’s ok so then you should measure the resistance between the +ve battery main wire lead clamp and the other side of the fusible link. If the resistance indicates infinity (open circuit) then the fusible link is blown and needs to be replaced. If the fusible link is blown, find the fault before replacing the fusible link else you’ll likely blow it again.

Probably culprits are (1) starter motor power feed has fallen off and shorted to ground, (2) alternator has shorted internally/externally, (3) the +ve battery terminal within the engine bay red plastic cover is broken and something has moved and shorted it to ground, (4) any number of other things could have caused a big short to ground And popped the fusible link.

Yes that's what happened, wire to fuel pump shorted, which then shorted instrument panel and it's fuse, 7.5 AMP, fixed now, thanks for the advice.
