Diff identification

Hi guys, can anyone identify this diff??
It’s in a Vc v8 wagon.

... it is NOT a VC V8 diff thats for sure! looks nothing like it

it is a BW transplant (from a later model... VL or VN I would think)

Yeah that’s sweet. Thanks for the info. It’s behind a 355, so I was hoping it was a lil stronger then the std vc diff.

a Borg Warner V8 or Turbo diff is sure stronger than the standard VC one

You'd need to do more investigating as one pic doesn't show much tbh.

Flat diff flange usually means borgwarner.

3.45 gears & if wheels still inside wheel arch could be vl wagon diff (stud for shock absorber) but then look at brakes & axle splines

Could also be vn to vs wagon as they're wider or ute diff if flat plate welded top of axle tube for ute bumpstops.

Thanks mate! Yeah I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t the original diff. I’ve got receipts for the LSD And 3.7 diff gears.

3.7 are nice cruiser gears with bit of zip when you want to play around...fine with 25 or 26 inch tyre
