Hi All,
My Ecotec V6 is showing the signs of needing to replace the crank angle sensor. Engine light flashes within a few minutes of driving and then if engine is turned off after a few minutes of driving it won't start back up again after at least 20 minutes.
Can anyone one recommend a crank angle sensor brand that is of high quality and with good longevity. I've heard they only have a one year warranty from a local mechanic.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks

Grab one from an auto store. They all come from China, so it's going to be hit and miss on whether it lasts more than a couple of years. Quality control is poor on all of them now, some last some die after a year or two. The factory ones were awesome they lasted over 10 years but they were made in Mexico.

Last one I got was from Repco, branded P.A.T. Was only about $25.
Seems to be ok, although it's only been in for a couple of weeks....
