Holden dont learn

Is it just me or do Holden never learn??

Ford|Holden
Standard V6 182kw|175kw
Fancy V6 240kw|190kw
Standard V8 220kw|???kw
Fancy V8 260kw|???kw
HiPerform V8 290kw|???kw

Lets hope they can do something with the V8 cause they have stuffed the 6 up. I know it has all this fancy **** on the Alloytec but when it come down to it at the pub what wins?? 240kw 6 or continuously variable cam phasing???

Just a few things tho mate, Holden are premoting the Alloytec 190 as there performance V6. Also I dont think Holden make a 285kw V8 (HSV Maybe, but you cant compare it as the Ford one is 260kw). And they ripped the Ford auto gearbox off with there 'tiptronic' version of the Sequential Sports Shifter (SSS)

Holden may be hiding something up their sleaves with a high performance V6. One would hope so too!!!

Yeah its not good Airstrike, but lets hope when it comes down to ratios and arse kicking speed that we win there. You'd think it couldnt be hard with competition like Ford...

Why should Holden let all their cats out of the sack in the first incarnation of an engine? It's daft to think they would throw everything at Ford straight out. Its blatantly obvious they are saving their punches for the release of the VE.

one empty space in my previous post...now filled....

Holden announced yesterday....
that a turbo version of the 190kw Alloytech engine....
will commence production within the next 12 months......

would have to make at least 240kw................

lets see... shall we bring up ..."bathurst" and who's won that for the last unfteen years.... not bragging or anything... but how many years in a row has hrt/holden won bathurst etc... and now we name ford.... not many ...
