Thanks EYY i was hoping to get the crank out of a block without removing the pistons and rods? Seems like you could remove all of the caps and lift it out? Just wasn't sure if everything could swing clear before making contact with the case? Only 80ks on the motor since it was last rebuild so...

Just as im about to give up on her i decided to go over the electrics one last time and with what basic knowledge i have, i found that the efi relay was intermittently playing up so i replaced it and boom she lives again, couldn't be happier :)

exhaust is new just replaced it, checked pretty much everything. i dont know the history on the coil packs and dfi modual so now i will check but then i am going to change the crank angle sensor as a last resort.

Checked everything relay, fuses, pump, filter, vacs, map sensor, fault codes, has fuel pressure.. now it idles but if i try to rev it dies. Any help would be greatly appreciated because its stuck in the driveway to our complex and i will have to get it towed to my parents house if i dont get it...
