Hey guys I was just wondering if ecotec head bots are single use. or if I take them out I can reuse them or need to get new ones ?

I need to get my fuel rail out in my v6 ecotec and I’m having trouble disconnecting the fuel return line from the fuel rail (not the end that goes into the metal lines) there isn’t a clamp or anything and I pull it but it won’t budge just wondering if anyone else has come across this ?

Thanks for the comments bous I got it in eventually I put the drivers side in first then loosend the passenger side engine mount then dropped it into the k frame holes then dropped the engine down. Went in like a glove

Hey guys I’m trying to put a vy Ecotec into my vu Ute and the engine mounts aren’t lining up with the mounting spots in the chassis by around 45mm should I take the mounts off my old engine and put them on or is there any other way around it or is it completely different in general. Thank you

There is like a 15 mm gap between the box and engine the whole way around and the dowels are clear but I just can’t seem to get it off the input shaft.

Hey guys I have recently blown up my 3.8l ecotec in my vu Ute and I’m trying to remove it to replace it with one I rebuilt and I’m having trouble getting it to come off the input shaft, all the bell housing bolts are out and I’ve tried lowering the engine and raising it and lowering the gearbox...

I was trying to get my lower control arm in my vu Ute out and the bots for it hit the body of the car and they won’t come out. Will I have to drop the rear subframe out to get it out or is there another way around it I need info asap cheers fellas
