    True, I got 1 3/4 long tube, 100cell 2.5 inch hsv OTR and made 410hp with 700nm.. my tuner told me going large isn't necessarily better. 1 7/8 with 3 inch is too large I believe for non cam non supercharged LS3.

    OTR, 2.5 inch with long tube 1 3/4 with a tune got me 410hp at the wheels which whilst it goes hard, I'm entertaining the idea of a cam. So for me, short answer is yes

    If it's LS3 , give it better breathing ie OTR cold air and full exhaust. Going too big on exhaust will likely hurt performance. I believe you don't need a 1 7/8 long tubes 4 in 1 and 3 inch system, 2.5 inch with 1 3/4 4 into 1 is more than enough. 3 inch and 1 7/8 probably better for...

    VF2 SS owners - have you had any major mechanical or electrical faults since new?

    I tightened 4 star head screws under seat along rail and it has reduced it, still a slight click I believe if I tighten it more it would stop

    I have bought 2 filters for my Vcm intake and a K and n recharge kit . Filter was $100 delivered and now I can clean one whilst still be able to drive. If you have a look you can see the filter, but the Vcm OTR have drain holes.

    I know what you mean, the tune I got done is from Sam's Performance in Sydney and apparently these dudes are Gurus with LS engines. Massive difference in power after getting it tuned. Whether it is 298rwkw or not as my dyno sheet says, my car goes hard.
