hi mate thanks for your reply. i never got it down to my mates like i wanted to. i have checked the vac line running from the reg to the throttle body and it appears to be dry. also i crimp the fuel line from the regulator and its not overfuelling from there. im waiting on the plug leads online...

yeah, all too true. it is a good ute and goes fairly hard too. 120 easy in second, never really wound it up in third. sits on 120..freeway, purring in fifth just over 2krpm. the roller combo with the 5 speed is a sweet package. i love it. i will probably put it up on blocks and get the motor...

i have started using 91 and the motor is sweeter than its been for a while. it starts a lot smoother and seems to be overall more consistent if that makes sense. i have a 304 roller motor in a vs series 3 ute. so maybe its tuned for 91? i dont understand all this tuning stuff.
