Hope this doesn't sound silly but when you did the new DFI Module did you add the Thermal Paste to the plate? Reason i ask i had same issue with my l67... when doing the LIM gasket i cleaned off the paste (thinking it was dirty grease) and had the same problem you have until i put some new paste...

Picked up the Rear Center Seat to complete the Rear Seat section. I spent a bit of time getting the center arm rest to work, Seems like it was never used and stuck so the old wd40 soaking before it went to the trimmers. works like new now :)

narr it's there just a bitch to get to, got the old clamp off, trying to get hose near atm but camera went flat. made a good tool with heavy coat hanger wire, now using it to get hose back on.

Think i will go Macgyver style with a coat hanger tomorrow see if i can pull the clamp off as it is all perished in that area, hope it will just come off and try to slip the new one on.

What a headache, yeah found the connection lol, 2/3rds around the back of swirl pot. Got no idea how one would get a hose on or the clamp off it but will try tomorrow.

nope i dont have that pipe to connect to. spent 1 hr looking with camera and nothing there to connect to there is a blank cut out spot that looks like where it might be but has metal cover, no hose/hole/connection

nope turns out it was just a clamp sitting on bottom of tank. still cant find where to connect hose to swirl pot?

Ordered a Snake Camera so i could see whats going on inside the tank. for $35 i feel it will make life easier. Got a shot of inside the tank, can see the swirl pot hose clamp Just got to get it out now lol. (took a pic with my phone of camera screen as i dont have an SD card in new camera...

Needed the Center Back Seat Press Down Button to finish off the back seat. Pick one up today for $50 at Wreckers (center back seat with good button) Picked it apart and got it all ready for Trimmers to do there bit. That only leaves the Front Passengers to do to finish interior.

Found some bits in the bottom of tank, found the swirl pot which is to the left and below the main hole. Still cant see pipe or hose to go into but know where it is now. Wonder if these Pliers will help get the old hose on/off thinking the curve one might reach it. I need one of those Snake...

Personally i don't know the brand Guardian but it would be a SCA brand like ToolPro, so it is up to AU standards. I would say use them as standard replacement but if you are a bit of a rev head they will prob warp, buckle or break under extreme use. They prob will rust on the hub and sides a bit...

From memory you have both, the paper gasket with bolt holes and thermostat hole and the rubber ring that seals the thermostat.

Got the pump on, had to pull the top bit up to free the plastic pipe, pull the sock unit through the bottom brace. When putting sock back on it just clips in position once pump is back in place. Swirl Pot hose, how the bejesus am i suppose to change that? What have ppl done to put a new one on...

For $50 to be done at a paint shop i wouldn't bother. Time you add up the paint, thinners, sandpaper, primer... it will total more than $50.

Well that didn't last long, 10 mins into my day and it dies again. blowing fuses... 2.5 hrs waiting for a tow again, fun thing is it died on a bridge in the turn lane going north, today it died same bridge turn lane going south. So no Ute for now

Well the other pump had the hose on it but so perished it fell apart as soon as i looked at it... So i had to put it back in with no hose. Starts and runs now. Will order a new pump and hose and do it all again in a few weeks. not how i like to finish things but i got to get it running for...

Thought it was the case, but not 100% sure, thanks. At least i can get to work and if need be do it all again with a new pump and hose. Off to check the other one now.

Well the hose is gone lol. Dont have a car or time to sort now, got to get it running for tomorrow.... Hoping the other pump hose is ok but i doubt it. Can i run it without the hose, i dont have another here to use.
