Take the low level signal wires from the plug that goes into the Bose amp. These wires run from the headunit to the bose amp in the boot. I did the same with mine to run my Focal Bomba bp20 active sub.

Get rid of the hi-low level converter and tap into the low level signal wires from the head unit. Much cleaner sound.

It's a heat shield, but it's a barrier between the trans and trans tunnel, so it will reduce sound coming into the cabin a bit too.

I'd probably also include a few boxes of double choc coated Tim Tam's for good measure. Surely that would do it.

Pretty sure the door speakers are 6.5". You can also install 6.75" speakers if you use mdf spacers.

Could just be that the second hand converter you've installed was already stuffed. Hard not to stress after all the work you've done, but at this point I'd call a tow truck and send the whole thing to a transmission joint to sort it out.

My car had a power leak. Looked almost everywhere. I disconnected the front and rear blackvue cameras, the aftermarket sub amp, still no good. I then opened the glove box and disconnected the switch and that did the trick. The bulb had burnt out, but was still somehow drawing current.

Yes, it does confirm there's a current draw on that fused circuit if pulling the fuse drops the drawn current. I'd check everything that's on that fuse one by one and isolate them to see which one is the cause of the power draw. Are all of the items on that fuse working? Aerial, parkers etc...

Do you have any brake fluid in the reservoir? Check your master cylinder/ booster for any lines that are loose or have come off. If the pedal goes to the floor I'd start look for a leak, so I'd check the reservoir first, then look at the callipers for obvious signs of leaking fluid, then go...

Yep, at least it's the way it works here in Vic with racv. Once you're a member, call them and tell them you need to get your car towed to your mechanic and they'll send the tow truck out to you asap. I don't think there's a waiting period either from memory.

Doesn't work like that. I've had racv tow my car when there's no mechanical issues. They don't send a mechanic to tow it.

I thought the standard wheels fit with the police brake pack as they weren't much larger than the standard v8 brakes?

I work with one of the engineers who was on the VF2 performance program at Holden and I asked him a while ago if the VF2 Calais rim would clear the Brembo calipers so I could buy one to run as a spare on the front or rear. He said they fit.

Yes the seats will fit. However, airbags might be different if one has them and the other doesn't. This will throw codes in the srs system unless they're a like for like swap.

I know this sounds stupid, but is the car in park or neutral? Shift it from park down to drive them back up to park and see if that makes any difference. The shifter linkage could be a little stuffed, and if the car isn't actually in park, the car won't start.

It's great, isn't it. I used to use the hsv forum until it shut down for unknown reasons and this is much better. The regulars on here are fantastic too, with a lot of people willing to spend time assisting people with their questions/issues.

Paul, has the aerpro HVAC controller been wrapped or spray coated? If it has, that might be why the clearance isn't enough.
