Mate, if you want bass, you need a sub. You also need an amplifier to power decent speakers. Swapping out the speakers will definitely make the sound CLEARER, but not necessarily louder as the stock head unit doesn't put out enough power. An amplifier/speaker/subwoofer setup is the way to go...
