Hey mate.. I saw a post you wrote way back about 4 years ago about pullling apart the VX commodore power light switch.. Have you got any clue which way the LED's go in? Cheers.
All my LED's already came with a resistor on them. I just want to know the voltage of the posts in the master switch as seen in post 1. I tried running a multimeter over the posts but I can't get an answer. I dont know if they are all required to be wired in series correctly for the voltage to...
I did mate. I even stuck a 9 volt battery on each light to test which way it came on. From what I tested the light came on with the + pole on the right side (in this image) and the negative - terminal on the left side. I snipped them out and put LED's back in the same way but none of them lit...
What he said above.. Check engine light could relate to anything but if things still work and the car doesn't hear up I would say one of the sensors may be playing up.
Hi all. I took out my power window switch to convert to LED. Snipped out the green leds from factory. Now i'm not sure on the polarity of the posts to soldier in the new LEDs.
I have 2 questions:
1. What is the polarity of the posts? Can someone use my image and draw some on for me...
I just want to make sure this is correct. Otherwise I'll just take all the LED's back out and run a multi-meter over all of em.
Also I see that people say you don't need to put a resistor on them due to the fact they are already LED but will it make any difference? Should still work with one on...
One side of the light on the circuit board shows an asterix. I think its negative. If someone can just post an image from above indicating the polarity I should be able to figure it out.
Old thread but can someone tell me the + terminal on every one of the lights exists on the right side correct? The pole with the resistor is on the + side? Asking cause I just soldiered in 4 LED's all the same way but not getting any light up. I put a battery on each and they light up the...

look this guy up. he's on FB. You send the parts off and he sends them back done.
I have a 224/224 114 comp cam. mild cam by any regards still gets me some extra power especially on the upper ref ranges. Its ok to drive with auto. done have a stall but i think going bigger on a daily would be a pain in the arse to drive..
Dude I got the same isssue.. like something in the front is loose and i get steering column vibrations.. nobody can tell me what the problem is.. it's low but never used to have these kinds of road vibration and shuddering at speed. new tyres a few weeks ago ballanced. tried different wheels...
G'day people. I've had a look in the manual and fuse box and I can't seem to locate where the fuse is for the central locking which controls the reciever for the doors opening via the remote. Can anyone tell me where I could locate this.
Cheers.
It's easy to do.. If it's front, jack up one side at a time and spin the wheel.. you will hear if it's rubbing on the pads.. Changing them is easy. Undo the caliper with a socket wrench (2 big bolts from the back) swing the caliper over and rest it on top or tie it down.. then you might need a...
