I agree with EVILSIX buy the manual before trying to change the cam many a motor has had bent valves due to incorrect cam shaft placement.

Actuator is F**ked get one from the wreckers make sure that it works(get them to test in front of you) because it is a fiddly prick to take & replace.

Sounds like your BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) is faulty

Clean all the copper connections with electrical spray & cotton bud or if you have car paint thinners wih the cotton bud , fixed my old VR's dash troubles.

Got a VS in my front yard with good rear quarter windows & most other parts but I live in NSW & IT'S GOING TO THE CRUSHER REAL SOON.

There is also a plastic primer that I used it was in a spray can got it from RIPOFCO (REPCO) but if you have your own spray equipment any automotive paint place will have it in bulk ,the spray can did two front bumpers without any loss of paint so far , it's been on there for about 2 years...

Yeah thanks dude the only reason I'm changing the doors is they are better than the ones on my VT I have the whole car it was a statutory write off lots of goodies for mine including motor & tranny with 124000 ks.

Got hold of 4 VX doors with electric windows ,has anyone done this type of conversion ? the VT has manual windows.

If you want to change the colour you will need to disassemble the face plate from the dash (not hard to do few screws & a couple of clips to take off the perspex cover) turn the face plate over & gently sand the green colour off with 1200 wet & dry paper after you have done this hold it up to...
