Hey mate
Ended up with DBA 4000 xs and Genuine Holden pads.
Very quiet.
On a very odd ocassion some squaling happens in reverse but I then do a few harder stops and all good.
OEM pads are now super expensive.
Next time I will go with DBA XP orange pads
He is the guy that sold me dodgy redline ones. Yes they seem genuine but they have received standard gloss black treatment like most of his stuff. I would not go there...
Stay away ! There is a whole bunch of guys all connected in south sydney doing all kinds of dodgy deals. Respraying, mix and matching, reproductions etc.
A few years back i got a set of VF 1 SSV forged which were horribly 'restored'...sold to me 'as new'.
I could not get my money back...
Interesting....
I wonder if this is because of bumper issues ? I.e. issue with manufacturing and supply ?

Hey mate. I get it from GL lubricants.
Prices vary..so i watch their ebay store. Usually around $150 for 8L
8 bottles ends up being 7.5L so that's just enough for 1 service.

Yes, a tune would wake it up a bit even without modification. Bimodal will stay. No issue there. You can not make it louder unless you modify exhaust in some way
