Hi guys,just thought i ask this question on this forum if i may,im selling my vn sv5000,its on carpoint as i speak and although ive had a lot of interest,is $9800 a fair price??? I need the car sold due to the purchase of a late model GTS and i dont have the room for it.

I have a VN SV5000 and would like to get a performance chip for it. Does anyone know anywhere in Sydney who i can talk to about getting this done????

It should have the HSV build plate in the engine bay.You can ring HSV,check HSV website and as already said,give them your vin or enter the vin yourself on their website.

Same thing happened to my VN. I took it to my mechanic who hooked it up to his diagnostic computer and no fault was found. I then did a search on the forum on how to reset the ecu,disconecting the battery for 5 mins is what i did,and took it out for a test drive today. The car changes...

Hi,ive just bough a VN SV 5000 and would like any recommendations on where to give it a good tune-up,someone who really knows their VN V8s would be great. Im located in western Sydney. Any help is appreciated.

I have option XT-8 for leather trim Leather trim which i found on another website.

Just checked out his car and mine is near identical bar the colour.Ive got so many reciepts for this and that for my car from previous owners and if one got a full leather retrim,maybey 4K worth,im sure they would have kept the reciept. Well,if thats the case,anyone else seen a VP SS Series2...

Maybey it was something the dealer did.I rang the original selling dealer and they did do a few things to my car but as it was so long ago,they cant say exactly what was done to which cars. They put HSV bonnet and boot badges and who knows what else so maybey they redid the interior.

Does anyone know where i can find pics of factory leather trim optioned to the VP? Im curious to know if my seats are factory or redone by an upholsterer.
