Car will not start when hot

Sold my wife's 2011 Holden Cruze with 50000 kms on it to her sister. We never had a problem with it but one week after selling it the sister-in-law rang up and said that the car would not start. They tried jump starting it then bought a new battery ($240 fitted!!) because a battery expert said...

Don't reach for the angle grinder just yet!! I followed the instructions but could not turn the key to the 2nd position. Caliper Slide Bolts

Same thing happened to me last week. The front left caliper was seized and I took it off to free it up. One bolt was free but the other was locked solid. Help req'd ~ Vacuum Hoses VS Commodore

Reply to Cander24 Thanks cander24, sounds like you really know your stuff ~ I will have another look at it tomorrow and fix it up properly . This car idled routh and "hunted' ie revs went up and down at idle, maybe if I fit the second hose this might stop this from happening too! Thanks...

Help req'd ~ Vacuum Hoses VS Commodore

I have just replaced my intake manifold gaskets. Whilst removing the intake manifold I removed a vacuum hose from the rear of the engine from a small electrical component. The hose was fed thru the top of the intake manifold and ended up at the drivers side front going into an emission control...
