Sikaflex will definitely do the job, but when you have to take it off again it's a huge pain in the ass. I just hate repairing a job and everything is sikaflexed!

Yeop, 3m double sided tape is the way to go. Don't use sikaflex.

Nah friction noises, and feels like it's moving fine. I have put the adhesive glue on the cap and set it in place. Should be completely dry tomorrow, ill let you guys know what happens. Fingers crossed!

Blue diamond have a lot of air compressors with good cfm, and lots of single phase and also petrol powered compressors. The prices are good too. Ill have to look around for reviews

I've just found a 58litre second hand one that has 16cfm (not sure if it's free air delivery though) Just don't have a guarantee that it's in good working order when it's second hand.
