So I am looking at a VF now, my SV6 is dying... If you had around $30k

Oh I agree. I haven't sat down with the sales person yet, just doing the initial run arounds etc. So I will certainly be haggling hard haha.

This was my thought! And well I was being pretty strict on myself to go between 30-35, this 38 is stretching it but only cos it's so much lower km's than all others for sale and it's red :) Red is my top choice. Oh and it's located down the road, so I can just go get it easily enough lol

So looking at this one :) Looks pretty good to me, low k's etc. Close by to me. And it's literally the same as the one I had so I can pretend I never got rid of it haha. 2013 Holden Commodore SS V VF Manual MY14

Any brand of Flush/Oil better than others?

I was seeing everywhere that it needs to be 5w30, but above someone also mentioned 10w40? Will it cause any damage using something like that, as because I'm changing so often, I could run a different oil if it won't cause damage. As Super Cheap as doing a special on the 10w40 currently at like...

Yeah Magnatec Fuel Saver iirc And yeah I've been told there's heaps of sludge causing the problems with my car, so I'm trying to keep it as clean as I can :(

Any brand of Flush/Oil better than others?

Going to give my 2011 VE2 SV6 a good flush out this weekend, see if I can clear some more sludge up a bit. Last time I went to SCA, there were quite a few different brands of oil flush, so I wasn't too sure which one to choose. Is there one you guys would recommend that does a good job? Or...

Post VF, what do you drive?

I actually think I'd buy another Colorado if this happened

So I am looking at a VF now, my SV6 is dying... If you had around $30k

Sorry for multi posting, but if I bought a car from another state than QLD, let's say from a Dealer (Looking at that instead of Private, so I get some kind of warranty etc), do I have to pay Stamp duty twice? Like, most ads say "ex government charges", which is the stamp duty basically... So...

Ehhh I dunno, I feel like I'm getting more with a VF S1. Even though the engine isn't as powerful, I'm not into the most high performing item. I just want something that sounds nice, runs nice and is fun to drive. Oh and comfy :) And being an I.T tech, I do like myself some fancy gadgets!

Well I'm partial to leather, but not overly phased. However I do like the idea of push button start (I loved that in my SSV), as well as the MyLink setup. Auto Park is nice, even though I only ever used it once, and I actually quite like the electric park brake too. I know a lot didn't. I...

Nah, traded on a new Colorado. Was a good idea at the time. Lol. The after that had to sell it due to business going broke and now have the busted arse SV6

So I am looking at a VF now, my SV6 is dying... If you had around $30k

So my VE2 SV6 that I literally just bought a month ago is having so many issues that I'm literally just done with it. I'm going to get rid of it and finance a VF. I had a VF SSV S1 a couple cars ago and loved it, wished I never traded it in! But I can't decide now if I spend around the...

What kind of price should I be paying for this repair?

Hahah who knows. But that's what I thought too. I mean, aren't these the guys that are "pro's at Holden"? They should be able to do it blindfolded ;)

What kind of price should I be paying for this repair?

Holden have told me its 12 hours of labour to do it... Beyond that I got no clue lol
