looksw very nice that unit, i think im gonna hang out until pioneer release there new 2013 range, i've sussed out there new top of the line AVH-X8500BHS.... looks like and unbelievable piece of equipment, they've got this new 'MIXTRAX' technology which pretty much lets you DJ your own music from...
could you show me a photo of the head unit in the car, would really like to see what it look like in, and also a photo of how you have the sub behind the headrest, please and thanks.
what did your setup end up costing? how's that head unit go as well, does it have gps/sat nav? so what was the final solution with the gear you went with?
nahh, more than a $1000... the head unit alone is like $1500, i want one of the new kenwood/alpine/or pioneer 6inch or 7inch screens what ever they are with the Sat Nav. i'd be wrapt if i could get a real good sounding system sub/amp/speakers for $1500 (not including the head unit)
YEHH i just mainly want nice sound/quality for when im driving around nothing over the top! plenty of boom as well would be nice! i'd be looking to spend over a $1000
what sound system setup do you have in your VY/VZ ute, im looking to put a system in my vy 04 s ute but not sure where to start and what equipment to look at
i recently totaled my vy ute. its was a 6cyl automatic.
today i just purchased the shell of a 6cyl manual VZ.
im going to put all my running gear onto this vz shell which i just brought. all the interior is still in the VZ shell so i was happy that i wouldnt need to put all my VY interior...
i recently rolled my VY II ute. all my running gear and that is fine, so i've just brought a VZ shell. im planning on putting all my engine etc... under this new shell. this new shell belonged to a manual which was written off. my ute is an auto.
the new shell has all its interior in tack...
could someone just briefly explain to me how all this stuff works? difference between 2/3/4-way speakers, the different channel amps..... what do i look at when try to select the correct amp for a sub and speakers. if i have the pioneer slim 12" 1000w sub and pioneer 6x9" 400w 3way speakers...
definitely not installing it myself. i probably could, but i would prefer a nicely done top notch installation. knowing me, ill put a wrong wire somewhere and blow something up
cost isn't an issue, i just want to see what everyone suggests for your average sound system. i just want clear sounding music when being blasted and some bass BUT surely i could get a good setup for under $2000?
